This 55-year-old patient presented with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) of the left breast. She also tested positive for the PALB 2 gene mutation and has a significant family history of breast cancer. She had a bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy with simultaneous pre-pectoral implant-based breast reconstruction.
