Facilities
The office is equipped with a fully certified operating room. The room can be staffed with a board certified anesthesiologist. Local anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and general anesthesia can all be administered safely in this setting.
The DIEP flap surgery requires a short hospital stay. Dr. Keller has privileges at Long Island Jewish Hospital, North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset, Winthrop University Hospital, and Tisch Hospital at New York University. All of these hospitals are excellent facilities and have the appropriate equipment to perform the DIEP flap. Dr. Keller would be happy to discuss the strengths of each of these facilities.
