Implant Failure Before & After Photos

This patient has had bilateral mastectomies and implant reconstruction performed at another institution. She has had prior radiation treatment. There is severe capsular contraction with the implants which distorts the breasts and makes them tight, hard and uncomfortable. Both the implants were removed as well as portions of the internal scar and the breasts reconstructed with bilateral DIEP flaps.
